Evaluation of our Progress

Our first draft was very dissapointing as we occured difficulties with a lot of different factors, these included the band members, equipment and the venue. We filmed our draft in a village hall. this wasn't our preferred location, but due to our poor planning and the time deadline that we had to stick to we were forced to use it. The lighting in the room was that of a very poor standard and it severely impacted the visual quality of the video.

We only did a one shot video which we were very dissapointed about, this was partly down to our own poor organisation and also the camera ran out of charge half way through recording. We also didnt have a very good plan or storyboard so this didnt help us in the process at all.

We realised that we let ourselves down on the draft and so we started to plan our new video for the next week. So we have made our second draft straight the way and we were very happy with how this turned out.

There were a few shots that we were not happy about and so we will need to make changes to these for our final video. Our last shot was to serious and our video throughout has been that of quite fun and had a happy feel about it. So the ending didn't really fit in with the rest of the video.

We encountered some difficulties with our filming day due to a lack of battery on the camera which limited us to only a few a hours of filming and we spent a lot of time charging the camera, this was not very time effective and was a frustrating situation.

We are planning on filming some more shots to ensure that we produce the highest quality video we can to achieve the best mark possible. We have the basis to produce a really good music video and now we just need to build on this to make sure we progress to a high standard.
