Audience Profile

We are targeting a 16-24 audience for 'Chunky Passion" this is because we feel that this age group will be able to relate to the music video that we are going to produce. Our audience will be very creative and looking to expand their taste in music to wider variety. They like a mixture of both independent and mainstream artists.

Chunky Passion will also appeal to our target audience as they will be able to relate to the couple that will be portraying a relationship on the video and so we are planning on the couple showing going through a rough time in their relationship and so we hope certain people who are going through a difficult time will be able to relate to this.

Using UK tribes we came to the conclusion that our target audience would be Indie Scenesters.
This audience is not afraid of listening to new music and discovering new genres. They are creative people who have an interest in music and fashion, they also like a mixture of mainstream artists and new up and coming music.

Our artist will also appeal to our audience as our song 'Carried away' by Passion pit suits the style of 'Indie Scenesters'. The two people in our band will be very down to earth and quirky which will help the audience relate to this. We are trying to give of the impression that our band really care about the music, just like the fans do. We feel that people who are looking to expand their music taste will really enjoy our song choice and also enjoy watching our music video and how we portray the actions of the band. 

Our band have a real passion for new music and fashion and so this makes them like the 'Indie Scensters' this means that the popularity of the band will be a lot higher than if they were in a opposing tribe.
