To begin with I like the colour scheme you have used consisting of blue, black and white. I believe this works effectively to create a professional looking poster. Furthermore the central positioning of the date is useful because it allows the audience to be instantly drawn to the release date of the album. I like the way empire colours (the band name) is spread out across the whole page, it looks like there are spaces in between each letter, which allows the words to stand out more. The bottom of the poster is also intriguing set up; giving vital information at the bottom such as the bands website and the record label website so the audience know where to go to find out more interesting information. One criticism I have of the poster, which would be an extremely easy change, is the letter ‘L’ in colours, personally I believe it looks to short in contrast to the other letters in the word, this makes it oddly stand out a bit. Furthermore I think you could play around with the font of empire colours, maybe it would stand out more in a bolder font? But I really like the design and creativity put into the poster. Well done Joey x x x
The first thing that I would say is that I like is the colour scheme of the poster, I think that the blue pattern at the top of the page looks really good on the black background. I like the white text as it stands out against the black background and makes it easy to read, I also think it stands out well against the blue pattern. As you have used the pattern on both the poster and the digipak it makes a link between the two which is good as it gives the audience reference to both, I like the pattern as well, I like the simplicity of it and it adds colour to the poster and the digipak. I like the simplicity of the poster I think that it works well and it keeps to the same style as the digipak.
